WTF? BEN! MAX!

OKAY, so the other day a trailer for Hitman was on TV and I just thought, "Wow, they ripped off Dark Angel scenes pretty well." And now the film's actually on TV and...the opening credits actually ARE scenes from Dark Angel. I'm not even kidding. My jaw just dropped a few inches. I bet this is old news to most of you but Christ, I just saw Max's flight and wee!Ben pointing a gun at a Manticore guard in the opening credits for an action movie. O.O I mean, WTF?

As a result, I now have the urge to rewatch Dark Angel. Season one at least.

Ahahahaaaa! (That's me mimicking the opening of Dark Angel)

So, brother and I finally finished watching Dark Angel tonight. He'd been putting that off because he didn't want the show to end. Awwww. :-)

Seriously though? I need more Alec icons. Really, I do. Seriously. Honestly. Really. No kidding.

I had completely repressed all memories of Alec in those black special ops outfit from the finale though...hmmm. Although--you know in Star Wars Episode 4, when Luke comes to rescue Leia and she says something like, Aren't you a bit short for a storm trouper?

I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you and she replies, You're who?

In the dubbed version that I grew up with she replies, Aren't you a bit short for a storm trouper? (Yeah, yay for creative translations *rolleyes* Especially since they manage to squeeze about thrice as many words into the scene than in the original)

DAMMIT, I'm stupid. I got it mixed up. Of course she says that in the English version too *facepalm* It's late.

Anyway, that sentence kept playing over and over in my head when I watched Dark Angel tonight and saw Alec in that outfit :D He's got the hair almost down too!

I wanna write Dark Angel fic now. One day, I'm gonna write my sequel to the finale in which Alec is in charge of TC even though he doesn't want to. YES.

Pollo Loco

So I thought I'd drop the whole "I'll watch the episodes in order" concept and jumped to "Pollo Loco".

I thought I was prepared and that I'd been spoiled by "Designate This" anyway, but I seriously had not expected THAT. I'm still left more or less speechless by the ending.

And Good Lord, can that guy act.

Also, ProSieben bought Supernatural? Well, goodnight then. ProSieben even manages to air Lost with bad ratings. I definitely see SPN being aired somewhere late night in the middle of the week so that no one will notice it. Well done.

Watched 1x06 - Dalek with my brother today. He's growing really fond of Doctor Who. As in the show, not the character :p I dunno why, maybe because I'd just finished watching Supernatural, but by the end of that episode I had tears in my eyes.

Okay, I shall watch one more Dark Angel episode (*happy flail*) and then be off to bed.

I SO own the first ten minutes of Supernatural 1x12 - Faith. I officially announce them to be mine.

Don't even try.

And oh - the DVD guys emailed, told me they were sorry and said they'd send me the missing dic and include an envelope so I can send the disc I got twice back.
