"I'm always all right."
[livejournal.com profile] astri13, [livejournal.com profile] tia_thereal, [livejournal.com profile] glorfinniel and everyone else whom it might concern may as of today rejoice because I've finally seen "The Berrisford Agenda".

Oy. May I just say that my heart broke in many teeny tiny pieces? Also, people who know me well may guess which scene had me almost combust with squee...Jesus Christ.

So, did I mention at some point I have a thing for blokes with glasses? OR for blokes playing the piano? Well, you do now. So basically after the first ten minutes this episode had killed me dead already. Oh Alec, you're SUCH a Wooblet *huggles*

Loved the fact that it was Joshua who saw right through Alec. (And the way Logan and Joshua acted together, aaaw). And that Alec wasn't the perfect soldier Max assumed he was. Also the talk how later on things got harder in Manticore killed me even more. By the time the moment came where Alec was tortured (which reminded me of the movie Sleepers by the way) I wasn't even alive anymore. Hehe.

*points to title of entry* I giggled a little because it's the same line Ten uses in "The Girl In The Fireplace". But when he said it my heart broke, too, as did it when Alec said it. Just - ouch, hurts pecious.

[livejournal.com profile] astri13 I didn't think Max was that bad in the episode. She did have her reasons to be mad at him, plus, in the end she realised something was really wrong.

And I totally can't see Alec cry. It makes me cry, too.

Okay, in about two hours I'm off to pick Andrea up from the train station. Might drop by here every now and then but I won't be online much.

Ta-ta!

ETA: Oh and randomly? I totally loved SGA: Sateda. Great episode...seriously :-)

ETA 2: Am considering to buy Blonde. from amazon.de. It's pretty cheap. And I know that Jensen's what? Three appearances probably aren't worth the film, but dudes and dudettes, Patrick Dempsey is in it...and I've sort of fangirled over him ever since Sweet Home Alabama. Oy! Choices, choices.

Don't buy Blonde. You'll regret it. Big time. It's AWFUL. You can get all of Jensen scenes on the net. Even they suck. The Dempsey scenes suck. And the rest of the DVD is one big waste of time.
*wants those three hours of her life back. badly.*

it's two part never ending TV-Movie. (2 DVDs)
The things is, I have watched a lot of crap for actors only. But this was by FAR the worst. Really.

rofl. Compared to Blonde, Devour was a *great* movie. And at least it has Jensen *all* the time, so you always amuse yourself with the pretty. Blonde equals three hours of annoyance and boredom. Jensen might be in there for 5 minutes top.

Yay for finally seeing it. :)

So, did I mention at some point I have a thing for blokes with glasses?

Hottest dork ever.
I vote for Dean to have cute reading glasses he puts on in secret so Sam won`t see. :)

I loved Alec`s shyness and insecurity about being hit on by a pretty girl. The pool-scene seemed like his "first time." It offset him being a trained killer and soldier beautifully because he was so young and boyish in this.

Loved the fact that it was Joshua who saw right through Alec.

Also the talk how later on things got harder in Manticore killed me even more.

That was kinda what made me so mad about Max here. Because Joshua had to explain to her why Alec could possibly have some reason to be dark and tortured. Because as we all know he grew up in love and luxury. *headdesk*
And how hard would it be to figure out that things only got worse at Manticore, especially after the escape. But no, everything begins and ends with Max and her specialest pain of all.

I just got made at her "offer" to help him. It was so much put-upon "Well, I`ll grudgingly climb off my high horse to help you and you should be tons grateful about that." I wouldn`t be very much inclined to take her up on that either.

Even Logan was more sympathetic to Alec here. When he played the piano at Joshuas reactions varied from confusion to astonishment but Max was all bitchy: "Who cares?" Well, obviously not her since it doesn`t concern her directly.

Yup, my Max-hate is still going on strong. ;)

As for Blonde, I`ve watched like the stupidest crap for actors and yes, I bought Devour but I draw the line at Blonde. Because the kimono dance made me cringe.

When he reads Harry Potter. :-p Actually...

Yeah. At first I thought he was playing it but after a while I realised that he was in fact pretty insecure about that.

Also, diamondback158 told me in her comment Jensen actually learned to play that piano peace in two days which just made me explode with squee because seriously? That's frickin' awesome.

I love that episode so much!

I have a thing for blokes with glasses? OR for blokes playing the piano?
Thant makes two of us, well the glasses thing depends on the guy, but still, Jensen looked so hot!

Joshua i perceptive, I liked that.

Ten uses in "The Girl In The Fireplace"
Heh, I've actually seen that episode, nd I though of Alec when he said it. Lol.

It reminded you of Sleepers? The Brad Pitt Sleepers? Which part??

Hehe cool!

The part where...oh I always forget his name, Shanks, Shades...? The Italian boy gets thrown into that dark isolated cell, horribly beaten up after they've won the football game. The scene where they drag tortured Alec downstairs into his cell reminded me of that.

OR for blokes playing the piano?

Heee, then you'll really love this. In the commentary, the writer talks about the piano scenes and how they had a hand model on set for Jensen for the shots of Alec's hands on the keys. But Jensen said, no, it would look off, and that he could learn the pieces and he did - in two days. . . close to the same amount of time it took Alec to learn to play. I just. . . yeah. . . *guh*

They also point out that the actress playing Rachel doesn't actually play in her piano scenes, and you can tell becaue the camera makes clean cuts between the hands on the keys and her face; we never get a full shot of her playing, but we do of Jensen in Alec's scenes.

So, as if I wasn't already going to Nutville over Jensen before I saw the commentary, afterwards I had pretty much bought a house there and settled in as a permanent resident.

You know I WAS actually sitting there thinking "God does he play that himself????" - that is just awesome. Really, really awesome. *explodes from squee*

Yes, where can you buy those houses? I guess I should move there, too, now....

Omg YAY! I'm so glad you've seen it!!!

I LOVE the way he says 'Hey, Max' on the day he comes back, just before the 'I'm always alright' thing. Makes this fangirl very very happy indeed. And now I can discuss my plot bunnies with you - yaaaaaay! :D

Have fun with Andrea :)

The piano scenes astound me,even more now that I know he's actually playing! As much as I love that bloke, I can't help but resent the fact that he's got absolutely everything. He's just so good at everything he does (and that includes looking pretty). If only I could have just a teeny bit of the talent he does...:p

I love when he first arrives at the house and goes all angsty and throws the package over and, completely unrelated here, but I LOVE Logan's laugh when they're at Joshua's and Joshua mentions about Max and Logan 'gettin' busy'. Makes me grin every time I see it :)
