Just your ordinary fandom post.
You know the most heartbreaking thing about the recent Supernatural actually episode is... )

Also, ProSieben bought Supernatural? Well, goodnight then. ProSieben even manages to air Lost with bad ratings. I definitely see SPN being aired somewhere late night in the middle of the week so that no one will notice it. Well done.

Watched 1x06 - Dalek with my brother today. He's growing really fond of Doctor Who. As in the show, not the character :p I dunno why, maybe because I'd just finished watching Supernatural, but by the end of that episode I had tears in my eyes.

Okay, I shall watch one more Dark Angel episode (*happy flail*) and then be off to bed.

YAY! LJ Spam!
Because I really, really, really love that quote:

"You lot. You spend all your time thinking about dying, like you're going to get killed by eggs, or beef, or global warming, or asteroids. But you never take time to imagine the impossible. Like maybe you survive."
~Doctor Who, "The End Of The World"

I did mention I love that quote?

It's amazing how that show can go from utter silliness to philosophical, serious, moving within a blink.

Little Rant Caused By Me Being Ill And Having Too Much Time In My Hands...
...I mean, even more than usual. :o)

1) The only bad thing about Supernatural is the lack of actually up-to-date websites. I tried to find the air date for the newest ep but alas no luck. At least I finally did dig something up on a general website. And it says Scarecrow will air before Faith, that's just great because I really really really want to see Faith. Meh.

2) Re-watched X2 yesterday. This must possibly the only film I can't watch in English. First, Ian McKellen's voice. I mean, I can easily watch Hooligans and not think of Elijah as Frodo, or I can watch Lost and not think of Merry but when it comes to Sir Ian, he'll always be Gandalf to me. Maybe it's because everyone else slightly altered his accent, but he just spoke the way he always does and it's just - Gandalf. So that had me giggleling several times. And else?

Please, dear US film makers, I know this is a difficult concept for you but the next time you need a character from Germany, why not actually cast someone from Germany? We have brilliant actors here, I promise. That fake German accent of Nightcrawler is possibly among the worst I've ever heard, and it's not much better when he talks in German. Plus, no one would say "Gehen sie raus!" when upset like that. Heavens. (And while we're at it? Please, dear "Lost" crew, cast actual Bretons and Australians, even for the supporting roles. Even I can hear their accents are fake)

/rant

I'm less sniffy today, thankfully, instead I've developed a slight cough. Well, it's a nice excuse for me to do nothing but watch shows and films. :o)

Randomly - did anyone else's eyes water at the end of the "The Doctor Dances" episode from season one of Doctor Who?
