No, I don't know anything - that was just a pessimistic prejudice of mine...
But you can do A LOT of harm with a silly dubbing so I expect the worst, due to experience.

Like in that musical episode, they translated the lyrics of the songs with the stupidest things ever so it would rhyme...*rolleyes*

Well we only got the internet about three years ago so basically I HAd to watch it in German. I mean I tried to buy all my favourite films and shows in English or at least lend them from the library (and we did have HMV in Oberhausen for a while) but other than that...
