...I found out that ProSieben airs Queer As Folk.

WTF? When did they start to do that?

Hmmm. Might give that show another chance.

Teehee - what time? I kinda foretold that Germany is cool enough to air it at about 9pm... I was probably not right because I didn't see it in my TV schedule.
I was so pissed off with the beginning of season 5 that I kinda don't have 3/4 of that season - maybe I can stand the German dubbing enough to watch the last episodes in German. *shudders in advance*

Well after all ProSieben cancelled Scrubs in middle of series three, and Angel, too - AND they air Lost with bad ratings. That channel drives me nuts.

Well we only got the internet about three years ago so basically I HAd to watch it in German. I mean I tried to buy all my favourite films and shows in English or at least lend them from the library (and we did have HMV in Oberhausen for a while) but other than that...

Nah sometime around midnight? I only saw the end of the episode (and apparently it was the first ep of season one) and I think I switched the telly on round 0.30h. The dubbing isn't that bad - it could have been worse *thinks of Coupling and winces*

I have actually only seen the very first two episodes or so, I might not have been "ready" for it when I watched t back then :op

For me this was the first time in my whole life that I prefer a US version - I don't think you can compare the two, at all - it's just some slightly similar themes and character tendencies the Americans took and made something completely different of it - they aren't telling 1 story but concentrate on the character development. (And I SO liked it for 4 seasons.)
Completely different format. Some films or series are more alike and aren't supposed to be...:o)
So I don't think it's weird that you like the one but not the other and for me it's just the other way around. Just as: I like QAF but I... well let's say "Lost" was o.k. because I always fell asleep after 3 minutes; and I like sleeping.

But what really annoys me is the music used in the show. Techno drives me INSANE!!!!!

And it's created by Russel T Davies. The man is EVERYWHERE :))
