Okay, peepsicles, tomorrow after work I'm off to London. Will be returning Saturday after having (hopefully) cleaned out Portobello Market.

We hear you actually have to get a wrist band to be allowed to enter Trafalguar Square on Thursday. I don't think we'll get there in time to get hold of one as they start handing them out tomorrow. I understand they want to keep control over the amount of people in the place, but booo. I really want one. I want to bid the cast farewell :( I'm actually a little sad about the Harry Potter premiere being here. The end of an era has come.



Anyways--two and a half days of exciting London ahead! Have packed cool clothes and hair bands because if I can't wear this stuff in London, where can I?

Have also packed three different cameras. Should be sufficient.

As much as I'm looking forward to the actual con I'm SO not in the mood for all the travelling and waiting for flights/tubes/trains tomorrow, and even less in the mood for travelling back on Monday and arriving at home 9PM-ish and having to go back to work the next morning on Tuesday. Oh well. On top of that the staff was on strike at the airport today, let's hope they won't be tomorrow.

On a different note, how ironic is it that I stopped watching SPN but have bloody Kurt Fuller tell me about Winchester rifles on Psych? Seriously. I object.

Also, I apologise for all emails and comments that went unanswered. Things were incredibly hectic the past few days.

Imagine that you're going to London and you arrive at Terminal 5 at Heathrow. Imagine then that a friend of yours is arriving at Heathrow as well, only at Terminal 4. Is there a good place for the two of you to meet up?

Thus far, I've successfully managed to avoid Heathrow because I heard just how huge and confusing it seems to be, but since pixel_0's flight takes her to Heathrow and Pix has never been in Europe before I decided to book a flight to Heathrow as well. So...suggestions? Anyone?

(I read that the tube serves all five terminals via three stops--is it possible to get from Terminal 5 to Terminal 4 or does the tube just run one way? Also, would I have to get a regular tube ticket? And is there a spot or location in Terminal 4 that would be easy to find for the both of us?)

Any help is MUCHLY appreciated.

For my Advanced Oral Skills class (where we practise giving presentatins) I was assigned with the subject "My ideal holiday". Now, I was thinking that I'd like to plan a trip to Canada since it's a place I'd actually love to go and haven't been yet which makes the presentation fun for me, too.

Since I only have limited time to give that presentation I was thinking that I'd narrow down the fictional travelling to British Columbia and Alberta.

I will look up sights and places worth going on Wikipedia and tourism websites, but I thought that since I have quite a few Canadians on my flist maybe you could help me out?

If I was to visit Alberta and British Columbia, where would you take me? What are must-sees? Which sights praised by tourism websites are highly overrated? Which places are never mentioned on those websites but worth checking out? How likely is it to see moose and bears if you go to Canada? :-p

I'd love it if you could help me :-) (And who knows, maybe I'll take that tour some day!)
