Glee!

I have no idea how they're going to turn this into a series, but it looks awesome.

Also, I love it when songs are arranged completely different from what they usually are. So have Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" done in musical-style. I'm excited to see whether or not the show can keep up the quality of the perfomances.

Yeah, I'm also wondering how they'll make it into a weekly network series. Unlike with the pilot they don't really have a lot of time to re-arrange and rehearsal the songs then.

Exactly. I have no idea how they a) will keep the storyline interesting and b) keep that quality up in such a short time. This is the first time I see a pilot, go "YAY!" and at the same time don't think the series will be good or last long.

It was enjoyable to watch.

And I guess they'll do it like Friday Night Lights. Mix rehearsals and competitions with "regular" High School drama stuff.

I liked the characters enough to give this another chance. Also,

andie_306 would make me watch anyway. :D

But people don't watch FNL for the football, so I don't really think the music is what they are going for. So yeah, if they don't manage to get the drama stuff to hold peoples' interest, it will fail. Let's hope they will, though.
