I'm not sure but I think it's astri13's birthday today. In celebration I did what I've been wanting to do for ages - I wrote another drabble. So, if it is your birthday today, I hope its a good one and this one's for you. If it's not your birthday I still hope you like it :-)

Halloween

„You know, at Hogwarts…“ Dean begins, and he doesn’t notice Sam rolling his eyes as he is forced to hear the story for the seventh time, „...when it’s Halloween, there’s pumpkins hanging from the ceiling. And the Great Hall is filled with sweets and it’s all spooky and...”

“Dean...” Sam begins, “I really don’t care.”

“But how can you not care?” Dean replies with honest shock in his voice. He pulls hard over as he almost causes an accident, the other car honks reproachfully as it passes by. Sam jerks, but Dean only shakes his head. “Not care...” he mutters under his breath. “Not care for sweets and chocolate and pumpkins hanging from the ceiling.”

Sam chuckles quietly and sighs.

“Plus they have real ghosts!” Dean exclaims.

“You practically meet ghosts every day, Dean.” Sam replies, now amused.

“Yeah, but their ghosts are not evil.”

They fall silent until they reach the motel. When Dean opens the door to their room and switches on the light he stops like rooted to the spot. On every shelf, nightstand and table there’s bowls filled with all kinds of sweets. Dean’s jaw drops.

“Only so you stop whining.” Sam says with a grin.
