Not sure this is any good...

Silver & Gold

The morning after Geoffrey found a drawing on his bed where the evening before Jamie and he had made sweet first love.

“Did you like it?” Geoffrey had asked, nervously, but gotten no verbal reply: instead Jamie had wordlessly curled up next to Geoff, his bright green eyes fixed upon the other one, until he fell asleep.

The drawing was a portrait of Geoffrey in his sleep, still naked with sweaty skin. Geoff couldn’t remember Jamie had ever drawn anything besides pirates, and he rose his eyebrows in astonishment.

“Not all treasures are made of silver and gold”, it said.

'You look good!' in Norwegian = Du ser flott ut!

Or, that's what I would have said. You can say 'bra', 'pen', 'nydelig' or maybe 'godt' instead. They are all variations (varying slightly in grade of enthusiasm) of the first one.

"Du siehst flott aus!" ? ... *laughs* Sorry it's just that in German, "flott" is a little old fashioned and mostly used by either elderly people or gay hair stylists... I mean I'm sure it's not in Norwegian (actually I think it sounds really cool) but I couldn't help but giggle a little ... :o)

It's a pretty common word in Norwegian, used in several contexts, sometimes it can sound a little weird when older people use it in a context younger people either don't know or rarely use, but this one's completely normal and acceptable.
