See that's different from what I think. I believe there is no such thing as talent...not really. I think it all depends on how much you practise, how much effort you put into something and how clever you are...I'm one of those persons who believe you can learn anything if you just put your mind onto something... *shrug*

Some things perhaps - but not all. Think of acting or singing - I can't possibly ever imagine Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez becoming good actresses, or Evangeline Lilly for that (sorry - just had to get her in there!).

See I think if they were perhaps practising more then they could become decent actresses.

I'm not talking about outstanding performances in either acting/singing/drawing... but everyone can become fairly decent on these things and that's all I am - decent... got nothing to do with talent even though my Nan insists I inherited my grandfather's skills :o)

I think acting is one of the few arts practising won't help on, mainly because it's so diverse and keeps changiung - and demands the same form the actress/actor. Also, these women getting practise ?= more time on screen/tv = annoying me. Not good. They can just fuck off and keep away from tv and movies, mmkay?

I believe you might get decent, or close to, at drawing, painting etc, by practicing, but you need more than that to succeed, just like the three women need more than they have to be big actresses. Looks don't count as talent.

Oh I draw a lot but I hardly ever post my work because to be honest, I don't think it's post-worthy! :o)

But I actually brought a drawing of Pippin to the FF and Billy signed on it...and I'm planning to do the same for Sean Astin, David Wenham, Thomas Robins, John Noble & Craig Parker at RingCon... :o)

The drawing up there is actually more of a study... once I get the poses right *fingers crossed* I'll hopefully do a more detailed version... :o)
