"I can haz The Hobbit now?"-Post #546  
Finally a new video blog from the set of THE HOBBIT is online. Lots of tech-stuff but there are some nice glimpses of the cast and characters.

AND MY HEAD WENT BOOM. BECAUSE. Yes I knew Frodo was going to have a cameo in the movie and I was excited about that. But seeing Elijah at the set of The Hobbit, wearing the exact same costume that Frodo wears when we first meet him in The Fellowship of the Ring--I must admit I squeed. Loudly. And there may have been some teary eyes.

Looks like he really is just sporting that horrible, horrible beard for the character. Means that hopefully it'll be gone once the film is finished. YAY.)

I can't stress enough how incredibly perfect Martin is as Bilbo. I have no words. He is PERFECT. PERFECT. PERFECT.

Is it 2012 yet?

(Just in case you haven't noticed yet, I'm really, really, really, really looking forward to this movie. I don't even care of PJ mucks up the script and whatnot, I just want to see more of Middle-earth, really. See Bag End on the Big Screen again. Everything else I consider a bonus.)

Plus, 3-D glasses. Just talked with a friend about how funny it is to see actors in costume with modern accessories. Like Colin in his Merlin costume with the photo camera. Magic! :D

And awww. You and the beard. Such an amusing relationship. :D

Really? I hadn't noticed that. ;)

But like I said, even if he should love it, he won't have a chance to keep it, as there will be parts that will require shaving and then it will have to come off and you can enjoy pictures of him again. So something to look forward to, right? :D

Ein bisschen, stimmt :-) Aber die Baggins sind doch auch mit den Tooks verwandt, oder? Und deswegen werden Bilbo seine Spinnereien doch eher verziehen, oder wie war das? Dann passt es ja wieder :-)

Ja, dünn ist er schon immer gewesen, aber da sieht er richtig dürr aus.

Martin ist wirklich der perfekte Bilbo. Nach den paar Szenen aus dem Vlog... hach. Und dieser grausige Morgenmantel. Den würd ich glatt kaufen :D

Ja, stimmt, Baggins und Tooks sind verwandt. Aber dass die beiden sich so extrem ähnlich sehen ist gruselig. ^^

Mehr als nur toll!!!! Einfach wundervoll, berauschend, aufregend und hach. Aaaaaw ich hab grad Bauchkribbeln. Mittelerde wieder auf der großen Leinwand.

Ich freu mich auch total auf den Film. Hab jetzt auch zum ersten Mal nach den Filmen angefangen, den Herrn der Ringe wieder von A-Z zu lesen (und nicht nur ausschnittsweise für die Übersetzung des CCG). Der Hobbit kommt gleich danach dran. :-)
