I returned home to find a link to this picture in my inbox (thanks again, [livejournal.com profile] liz_mo, for thinking of me :-) ).

He looks perfect. I knew he'd make a fantastic Bilbo (he was, after all, the only actor I could instantly picture as Bilbo) but seeing this first photo has me in all sorts of glee. Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!

Hm, difficult to say. I'm not sure. The thing is also - dwarf skin is a bit more... tougher than the skin of humans, hobbits or elves. I hope I didn't insult any dwarves now.

Wrinkled, yeah! Makes it so much stronger and harder *looks for angry dwarves*

Maybe that is the reason why he looks a bit aged. I hope his skin doesn't react to the prosthetics like JRD's back on the filming of LOTR.
