If there is one scene of Glee that everybody should have seen it's this one.



On a different note, it's so hot I can't practise guitar. And my neck is stiff. Ouch.

*happy sigh*

Also, the more I hear of Chris Colfer's voice the more I love it. Even though that dancing and singing in the gym brought back horrible flashbacks of High School Musical. Ugh. *shudders*

I didn't know Glee was returning tonight! Whee! What a pleasant surprise--I've been really looking forward to the hiatus being over. Already listened to the 1x14 songs and so far only one turned out to be instantly love -- but the show's prone to choose songs that make me go "Hm" in advance buthat love once they appear in the episode.

I'll finish this post off with a quote of the one and only Sue Sylvester.

"You think this was hard? Try auditioning for Baywatch and being told they're going in another direction. That was hard."

OK. Incidently, I'm off to dance class now.

I actually choked up during this scene.

Watch this. Even if you have no clue what the show is about. This is beautiful. (Just in case it isn't obvious enough, the guys in school uniform are from a school for the hearing-impaired.)

You know in the pilot of Glee when Kurt auditions and it's sort of funny that he's got this really high-pitched, girly voice? I always wondered if they'd ever let him sing a solo and at some point I figured that maybe they wouldn't because let's face it, his voice did sound a bit odd but then...I just listened to "Defying Gravity" performed by Chris and Lea, and wow--all I can say is wow. It sounds amazing. I'm blown away. This is DEFINITELY my favourite duet on the show so far. They voices harmonise SO well.

*flails*

Finally I get the chance to thank each and every one of you who sent birthday messages and emails, gave me LJ gifts (thank you so much, pixel_0 and animotus), sent me parcels (thank you so much roadrunner1896) and made sure I had, despite the studying, a lovely day :-)

I will try to respond to each of you individually but if I can't get around to do it, be asured that I appreciated it all. A lot :-)

Okay. Off to iron, pack my bags and clean the house for brother's birthday. How I'm gonna do all this and more before 3PM? I have NO idea.

Read some spoilers for Glee and fortunately I can safely say that I am still excited for this show. I like that it seems like they'll give their characters a lot of back story. Chances of this actually turning out good just rose to 60%.
