Oh Noes...
I just finished watching two episodes of Dark Angel to find this posted at [livejournal.com profile] loreley_se's LJ:

No More Fellowship Festival

What a shame. I just talked to [livejournal.com profile] glorfinniel today how much I wanted to go again. Well, I'm so glad I went last year at least, and got the chance to talk to so many wonderful people from the LOTR cast. I got hugged by Alan Lee (more or less), and chatted to Billy and met Richard Taylor, went to Thomas Robbins' workshop, had loads of fun with Mark Ferguson and Craig Parker being masters of ceremonies. Such a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Heck, I stood up in front of everyone and asked Billy a question. I met friends from LJ and made some new ones. It was a great time.

I still randomly squee. This morning I squeed at my signed drawing of Pippin. And kept grinning like a lunatic all day long.

To translate my favourite lame German phrase: I'm beaming just like a nuclear power station.

Forgot to tell: As I had still 15 pounds left that I didn't want to take home with me I went bookshopping at the airport. The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis and The Orange Girl by Jostein Gaarder are now within my posession. Just love Jostein Gaarder. *bounce*

I must post this before I forget:
When Billy talked about this, I almost cried. No, seriously I did. Because I'm a softie as [livejournal.com profile] miss_nightowl likes to call me.

He was talking about Pippin's song, and basically he said that when he wrote it he tried to give the song a celtic touch. (Yes go you. I've been trying to give my songs a celtic touch for ages without any success...) And also that (and here comes the part that almost made me burst into tears) he thought it was a song Pippin normally would never sing, but that it was more like a song he'd heard his grandfather sing at some point maybe, an old tune, and that this was a song that actually didn't fit to Pippin...was too serious maybe, but that he remembered and sang to Denethor.

For some reason, that really touched me because I could it just see before my eyes, and I literally played the whole scene in my mind as he talked about it...

God I just HAD to mention it so I wouldn't forget it :o)

Anyone else think Billy would qualify as a fanfic writer?
