About ten minutes ago I realised that our house smelled like something was burning. Panicking I went down, but the oven and everything was switched off so I had no idea where the smell was coming from. Until I realised that I had accidently hang part of my coat over the lamp which is like right next to the coatrack in our hallway, and I hadn't seen that. So what happened was that the lamp (or more the produced heat, that is) burned a Godamn 10cm diameter hole in my brand new coat!!! That's right ... the green one I love so much it made me overdraw my account...it's totally ruined, I mean, it's not like it's just a black spot, the whole cloth is just ... burned through. And it's thick cloth I tell you, it being a winter coat and all. So...I'm so pissed I'm a about to cry. Really. It's just not fair... fuck that sleazy IKEA stuff, really! (Refering to that dangerous lamps here...)
And the worst thing ... it was already getting late, and if I hadn't noticed and checked but just gone to bed, the whole house might have frickin' burned down!

Ugh, I hate when stuff like that happens. You just feel so frustrated you want to cry or throw something or both. I accidentally taped over half of something I won't be able to get again last night, so I was sad/pissed/hysterical over that. I know the feeling.
