*rofl*
I haven't read the DaVinci Code and to be frank with you, it's actually the last book I'd volountarily set my eyes on.

Still, and even though I haven't read the book (which kind of proved me right that I don't have to read it since I got all the jokes nonetheless, there seems to be pretty little substance in it) I found this parody highly amusing:

Pretty much my thoughts when I first noticed a few years ago that Mum had actually bought LOTR for me. I thought that even the phone number catalogue would be a better read.

And I guess it's needless to say how absolutely wrong I was... :)

Ok so my point is - I know all the hype around DaVinci Code is annoying, and perhaps it isn't worth it all, but I found it interesting, nonetheless. I guess it also bothered me with LOTR that it was praised so much. *shrugs*

Don't let the hype deter you from the book, it's really quite good. :)
