Haven't done a proper entry for quite a few days ... might be due to a combination of laziness and the absolute nothing-happeningness' (just made up another word .... Steffi lingo mon as Nic would say *lol*) in my life ... *ponders*

Well... I finished Lord Of The Flies yesterday. What a brilliant novel that is. Actually the first 50 pages mainly bored me and I was like 'Why the hell do they all say it's so great?' but after that ... it got so gripping and so frightening. And towards the end, the suspense was hardly bearable. Glad I finally got to read it.

This morning my brother and I started to clear out our living room closet. We're gonna have our living room refurbished soon and so our old closet has to 'leave'. It was weird cause that's what our living room has looked like for as long as I live ... and now my father's gonna change it completely.

After that I convinced my brother we HAD to drive downtown and do some shopping *laughs* I ended up buying 'Northern Lights' by Philip Pullman ... I wanted to read the His Dark Materials Series for quite a while and figured that today was the day *grin ... plus I bought The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. It's a German children's (and adult) classic really and I had been meaning to read it for what? 10 years now? so I'm just glad I finally bought it. I dunno but I always feel so good when I buy new books ... sometimes I really feel the urgent need to buy some and I'm not content until I got new ones *shrugs* I guess I just love them.

Nic if you read this, guess what children's classic I saw at the bookstore? Sara The Little Princess ... it was quite cheap actually so I think I'll buy it one of these days :o)

I also bought 'The Beautiful Letdown' album by Switchfoot ... I can't believe the store had it ... *rubs eyes* ... already listened to it ... it's awesome! :o)

I liked "Die unendliche Geschichte". And Momo even more. Have fun reading! New books are always a good thing :-)

I haven't read the neverending story, but Momo is cool. And I absolutely love Sara the little princess!!! It had been my fave book for years, and I always read it just to read again the scene in which she returns into her chamber and suddenly everything is so beautiful there :)

What is Lord of the flies about? I always thought it has something to do with LOTR, something like making fun of it, but by now I realized it's something different, eh?
