I hardly ever do memes because I don't care much what kind of animal or elf or ice-skating troll I'd be, but I couldn't resist this one. Possibly because it has to do with Phonetics, and English which I study at university.

I answered all questions with how I'd pronounce the words the British way (that is, British rather than American. My hearing is not refined enough to actually pull a certain British accent off.) and I got this result:

Oh, but hey, going through those questions, I remembered Jared's accent. For instance in Hollywood Babylon he definitely said He was just feeling in for the day instead of filling in. It's kinda cute.

This may be a random question, but to you, does Jared or Jensen have the more apparent accent? They're both from Texas, right? Well, I seriously don't hear Jared's accent at all. Uh, well, maybe I did once when he said, "Because Dad's not here, Dean." But seriously, that's it. So, do you hear a thicker accent from Jared or Jensen?

I only notice it because there's quite a large difference between what I would say "dimonic" and the way he says "dee-monic" and I noticed that Jared says "dimonic" like normal people.

Then there are the usual American things like pai-tree-ot, rather than pat-ree-ot. And I'm finding myself saying REsearch rather than reSEARCH all the time, I'm turning American! *cies*

Very good question. Actually, I never noticed an definite Texas accent from neither. But then I'm no native speaker, and my knowledge on US accents is even worse than my knowledge on British accents :-) Someone once pointed out Jared has more of a "twang" when he talks which is true I think, but as to the rest? NO idea. I think I'd only notice their accent if they talked like Bush. I live in blissful ignorance :-p

Ha, Jared has more of a twang? I've never noticed Jared with a twang actually. NEVER. Well, once. But it's Jensen aaaaaaaall the way for me. XD Like, every time he says "brother". Haha. He says "brotha". XD I always found that odd, me not hearing Jared's accent but notcing Jensen's, because they're both from Texas and all. XD

I'm actually english, and not only english but from yorkshire/north east area. I've been told by aerican friends that I have a strong accent but they have never said that I sound like I'm from New York.

None of my german friends sound like they're from NYC either. Wierd.

It seems like everyone from the UK is getting NY. I suppose it has to pick the easternmost choice it has for people on the east side of the Atlantic ;) I can't say that the New Yorkers sound very British, and that lovely German English accent is not much like either.

Well, there is more than one German-speaking-English accent, or maybe it's just more or less of the same one, I'm not sure. In any case, the milder version is charmingly exotic while still perfectly easy to understand. Granted the thicker version is harder to understand.

And yes, I got the e-mail. Thanks! The "I wish I could love and admire you" part isn't really that hard to say. At least it doesn't contain any really tricky hard-to-say words like "frei" :p You Germans and your weird sounds!
