According to imdb.com Nicole Kidman was casted for Mrs Coulter in The GoldenCompass. I'm sure I'm the last to notice but what do you think of that choice? And the new James Bond dude will play Lord Asriel...I think that really fits at least.

Yeah I was just enlightened about Nicole being the obvious choice - but I think Daniel Craig rather fits.
