You know what's weird?
When Daniel, geeky linguist and archeologist on SG-1, reads a text and tells his crew that "it's Middle-English, pre-Chaucer" and the information actually makes sense to you. Yay for geeks!

(This LJ will eventually feature a really real entry, someday, when or if this heat wave ever goes away. Because my brain just won't function properly this way)

Heh, and so did Sam. That's one of my favorite comical scenes in the whole season. I wann scoop them both and put 'em in my pocket sometimes.

Yeah - he's SO cute when he's laughing. Actually, Sam should definitely laugh more often because you can't help but just laugh as well :-)

Yeah, I'm glad they were moving Sam in that direction more by the end of the season. He was smiling more out of genuine humor, too, and that was really nice to see. He has such a beautiful smile. Come to think of it, I need to add in some Sam icons that are smiling. I have two pretty brooding ones, so far.

I absolutely loved that. Because it showed a real develoment in his character, going from grief to - well, enjoying life, but it was done so very subtly you more or less only realise it if you rewatch older episodes and compare him to that. And yes, he definitely has a beautiful smile. It's like a sunrise :-)

Yes, a lot of his earlier smiles were "pleasant surprise" smiles when he discovered something about Dean he hadn't known, but it was always clear he was in a grieving process.

It's like a sunrise :-)

Some article somewhere referred to Sam as having "glow in the dark teeth" which is funny because they are SO white, but I like your description better.

I've friended you, btw. Will be looking out for more of your Closet HP ficlets. :)

Absolutely. They were "Oh, that's neat" smiles, or like you said "pleasant surprise" smiles. It's only later he actually starts to smile because he's, you know, feeling like it :-)

Thank you! :-) It's like - no matter how gloom and broody you are, the moment he smiles you can't help but smile as well - which is a great gift.

Oh, cool! *friends right back*

But I'm afraid I must head to bed now - it's late here :-) Twas great talking to you!
