Shooting for 2x02 Everybody Loves A Clown starts in a couple of days. My hope that they'd rewrite the script and certain characters thus just went "Pffffffthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.". Oh crap.

Oh, do post on it. Season 5 was terribly schizophrenic IMO. After my intense Season 4 love I was disappointed by the new direction, then it got slightly better, then there even was an intriguing storyline crammed in there. And THEN came "The Girl in Question", my most hated episode of Angel ever. Words can`t express my utter disdain for it. Argh.

Did you see Smile Time yet? That one I loved fiercely. :)

Ah, "You`re welcome" was a sad one.
I didn`t like Spike on Angel, he didn`t fit at all and he was getting on my last nerves. Especially with the Shanshu thing. Spike never, ever wanted to be human again and suddenly he wants it more than Angel? Right. And of course it was Angelus that made him evil and not becoming a vampire. I hate what the writers did with Spike on Buffy later on and this was even worse.

Also I hated what we learned about the Scooby Gang with their self-rightous "We don`t trust you anymore. We now have the Moron Army." STFU. You are worse than the last Watcher`s council, up their on your high horse. And I want to kill Andrew. Argh.

I've heard various opinions about season 4.

Didn`t love the Cory-storyline but the Season had a compelling tight arc and it actually created some menace. Which is more than I can say for Season 7 of Buffy where I was subjected to endless talks about how the First was soooo dangerous. Yet we never really saw much of that. *headdesk*

Am I the only one who liked season 7? Okay....so the final battle was a bit lame and I hated Kennedy passionately but overall I liked the season. Season 5 was the one that made me want to poke my eyes out.

I hated the whole way they went about it. At first the Angel-crew can do the work and then it`s "Yay, we`re enemies now. Didn`t you know?" And nobody even bothered to ASK Angel what the hell he was thinking and how all that came about. Buffy? Former life of your love?
Gah, I hate hypocrites with a fiery passion. Take Cordy on the other hand. She wasn`t thrilled but she tired to keep an open mind and to help.

Well, at that time Spike was thouroughly ruined for me as a character. With this weird: he is basically the same as a vampire and a human because he was the specialest vampire in all the lands. *headdesk*
So I didn`t appreciate his banter with Angel. I just wanted him to. go. away.

Am I the only one who liked season 7?

I loved the first half, there were some clunkers in the middle and the Caleb-storyline I liked again. But I hated the potentials, especially Kennedy. And the ending infuriated me. Think about it, a MAN saved the world, not the great girl power message Joss wanted to bring across. Without Spike and the deus ex machina amulett they would have all been toast.
Willow`s white wig of cheesiness? Haaaate.
The fact that everyone and their mother could suddenly beat up the Ubervamps? Double hate. So that basically means, the good guys are gonna win - but only if you ignore every law of the "real" world that you heretofore had established. Haha.

Season 5 was the one that made me want to poke my eyes out.

Frankly, I was very glad with the 5th Season. But that might be because everything had to be better than the travesty of Season 4 to me. There were good episodes there but I hated the Initiative arc and Riley more than ever could be put into words. And since they were in every ep, it ruined the whole Season for me.

I'm kind of....well, I'm kind of wiorried bout these characters but at the same time, the writing had been brilliant. Hopefully this'll all work out!

Ack! I hate asking for this, but please will you stop posting season two spoilers uncut? I want to know as little as possible about it before I see it, and things like episode titles and promotional pictures are spoilery and seeing them with no warning makes me cranky :(

Ok sorry for that but ACTUAL spoilers I always put under a cut. Because I hate to be spoilered as well. I just didn't think an episode title or the fact I'm not looking forward that episode would be considered a spoiler...^^

But...but... - the title is usually even in a tv magazine, isn't it? You usually always know what the next episode will be called, don't you? No matter what show?

Not over here we don't, no :) I can udnerstand you thinking it not spoilery, but I think in some cases they can give a lot away.

Like with the finale of the first season.....to me, that kind of set up what the whole episode was going to be like.

I would class a spoiler as anything that is about a future episode that has yet to be aired yet. That's what I hate it when I sometimes see trailers for programmes that give away bits about future episodes (like with my latest love, Out of Practice :))

She's ill actually, hence why I am on here....we haven't really been able to do much yet becuase of it but I hope she gets better soon! We're meant to be going to the beach tomorrow so I hope that she feels better for that. We had to cancel going to the airshow today so I hope she's better for everything else I have planned :)

I'm not sure whether it's cheaper to order them together and safe money on international shippment and then send them somewhere in Germany or whether it's cheaper to actually get them directly from there each.
