Oooooooooooooooh, I've always loved that song too...Back in the early, happy times at the beginning of the Fellowship. Those parts have always had a special quality to them...the Shire time. *smiles* Thanks again for sharing Steffi! I'm loving these...gives me my daily Tolkien hit! ;)

I´d almost forotten this song. Was that the one they sang after the conspiracy had been unmasked? No wait! It´s the one they sing before they meet the elves in the Shire! Mrrff... I always did have difficulties keeping control over the songs... basically because they never were my favorites...

It's sung when Sam, Pippin and Frodo walk from Hobbiton to Buckland ... :o) I'm not such a great fan of the songs either, but this one I love :o)
