Yup... and it's very likely actually we're getting a female Bundeskanzler ... but I'm not in favour ofher party :o)

Our election was on Monday:)

But we had the advance election going on a long time before that, so I took care of that the week before, since I don't live in my hometown anymore, and didn't fancy a trip home only to put a piece of paper in a box and then head back home again.

Me too - the advanced election-locals were arranged sevral places in town, including (I think) one at each faculty library (or at least on my faculty library), and in the main library in town, and in barracks on the market place.

That woman seems scary. A Norwegian papaer reffered to her as the 'Iron Hand' or something.

Seriosuly, I'm cut off from TV, newspapers and radio for a week, and suddenly I go home on Friday, and hera there's an election on the news! Aaah! Who do you want to win, and who do you think will win?
