juweline? Liked it a lot :o) Makes me want to write my own version of things... well done!

But... I honestly can't remember, does Pip actually call Merry 'Mer' in the books? I always thought this was more of a fandom thing... ^^

And it certainly is a fandom thing, but I like it nevertheless... I think it's the perfect match for "Pip" (which is canon, because Pippin himself mentions it to Treebeard).

Yeah I know "Pip" is canon (it's also in the films... "You smoke too much, Pip") but I couldn't remember the "Mer" thing, ah but turns out I was right for once... :o)

Go on, write it, there can't be enough stories. :)

Hmmm maybe I should...we should make challenges. Pick a random line from LOTR and then write our own versions :o)

It's a very, very fandom thing. I personally dislike it as it sounds a little too much like a noise a drunk person may randomly come out with just before they collapse into a stupor and I don't think it suits Merry.

Yep - fanon not canon, and I must admit I don't much like it either, partly because however I try and pronounce it, it comes out sounding weird and not remotely Tolkien-like.
