If you, like me, love fanart you should check out xanseviera over at deviantart. She does Sam and Dean drawings in manga style and it's really good. She also seems to be doing her own SPN manga, from the looks of it. (Just found her site yesterday; I haven't looked at everything yet) Anyway, you should check it out, it's worth it.

I see my flist is getting all excited over BigBang, and that's pretty cool. I'm not due posting until July 11th; I haven't even started editing yet. I'm actually a bit relieved I'm among the last to post, maybe that way everyone will be still drowned in other BigBang fics and mine will kindly get overlooked. Though I'm sure ashlan's art will be stunning.

If I'm tempted to sign up next year, just tell me 'no'. Nothing good ever comes out of it for me ;-)

Okay. So, yesterday missyjack asked for original music about Supernatural [here.]. I mentioned that I had indeed been writing songs about the show for some time (lyrics are here). missyjack said "Post it!" and I said, "Hmmmmmm dunnomaybesometime." (Thing is, except for being a bit paranoid about posting files on which I'm singing the songs also need a bit of arrangements etc. to sound decent.)

BUT! I remembered lyrics that I'd written in May 2006 after the season one finale which I'd completely forgotten about. I read them over and realised that if I tweaked them a bit, they could still work just as well for season four. Then I realised that if I was ever to record and post the song I'd better do it now because won't make much sense in October, right? Right. And then ongiara also said I should post them.

A few things:
1) Oh God, don't expect too much. It's a little songie with only me, my guitar Pat and my funny accent. Don't laugh.
2) I needed ten times until I got this one right. At first I recorded my guitar and my singing at the same time and always either screwed up the chords or the lyrics. Then I recorded my guitar first and added my singing later. I think I might be a bit out of key at times, which is probably because I was focusing so much on not screwing up the lyrics AGAIN. (Okay for a non-native speaker? They're HARD *whines*)
3) I wrote lyrics that rhyme!

4) I'm posting this under a flock, for now, so please don't repost the file. I'm embarrassed enough as it is :-) I might post this publicly but I really don't know, I mean...I'm not sure it's worth being posted outside of a flock. Which is NOT to say you should go and tell me now it's brilliant when it really isn't, I'd rather not have fandom point and laugh at me.

ETA: If this post should vanish over the course of the evening then I've turned into a chicken and set this to private. My fingers are already twitching to do it...

*takes deep breath* Okay, people have convinced me to post this publicly. So here I am. Switching this post to "public" :) *runs*
