I've decided that after having complained to so many people what I missed in the ROTK Special Edition I should make a whole entry on what I did like...savvy? So here goes my Special Extended Edition review, if you haven't seen it yet, just skip this entry. You have been warned.
( Things I like about the SEE )
Can't think of more now...there were some minor bits I liked but also a great deal of scenes I imagined to be more powerful...*shrug*
And while I'm at the random LOTR brabbeling...the LOTR special was on TV again today. And during that they also showed the old TTT trailer ...
glorfinniel you're right, it IS 'Requiem For A Dream' that's being played there. I never noticed that...but I'm listening to it right now. It's a great piece. Thanks for pointing out the link!
I watched 'Designing Middle-earth' from the ROTK EE today. I want to be able to draw like Alan Lee and John Howe. Oh and Billy is cute as heck.
My father finally got around to watch ROTK (but the theatrical version) with Conny. His comment: I thought the special effects were even worse than in the second part, and it was just as I expected: more battles and the ring being destroyed at the end... My comment: You still haven't realised that triology actually isn't about special effects, battles and a golden ring, right? to which he replied What is it about then?
And that from the man who didn't even get the moral of Finding Nemo. I see dark times ahead. *shakes head*
