I love how he still looks the same. He just grew taller and gained a little weight. In fact, even after all these years I still yell, "Mikey! Mikey!" at the screen when I watch the LOTR movies.

D'aww! I have so much love for that movie. Aside from how much fun it is, I remember the first time I saw it--a nice summer night, and my parents and I walked to the one old movie theater that was right in town. (I was 10.) :)

Ich mag Sean Astin auch sehr. Er ist mein Lieblingsdarsteller in LotR. Und Sam mein Lieblingscharakter. Trotz all der Elben und Menschen. Ich fühle mich zu den Hobbits hingezogen. :-) Und ich merke gerade, mir fehlt ein Sam-Icon!

Ich auch. Definitiv Hobbits :) Ich hab an der Uni mal einen Aufsatz darüber geschrieben (in einem Sprachkurs) warum Samwise einer meiner Lieblingsbuchfiguren ist :-p
