"There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something."

Okay.

Obviously Peter Jackson's video and the prospect of seeing Middle-earth again has me way more excited than I could ever have anticipated. I hereby apologise for all future squeeing, picspams, video posts and whathaveyou. Apparently it's not just another movie being made to me.

With that out of the way...

(Goodnight! :-) )

I don't think mine will. Having seen THE LOVELY BONES and KING KONG I'm actually a bit anxious about THE HOBBIT as a film--there was so much CGI in those films they completely overshadowed the rest of the film. But I'm just...very excited "come home". See Bag End again, and Rivendell, and Gandalf...that sort of thing.

Truthfully, I don't think we have to worry about the issues with those other movies. He's proven he can do Middle Earth. The effects will look BETTER because it's been a decade, but he's not going to pull an Ep.1-3 Lucas on us.

God, I hope so. With King King and The Lovely Bones it just felt like "SHINY CGI! LET'S GO WILD" and then those movies ended up being waaaay too long. Then again, I don't think I could ever be in Middle-earth for too long.
