Music.
If you like one or more of the following, I think this video may put a smile on your face:

  • the movie 500 Days of Summer
  • old music/dance films from the 50's and 60's
  • musical numbers
  • Joseph Gordon-Lewitt
  • Zoeey Deschanel

By the way, the song is sung by Zooey Deschanel. I bought their album the other day and I find I really do like her voice, even though it's unusual. And the album is love, I adore that vintage stuff.

I kinda get the impression she's had ballet training.

Anyways, am I the only who the guy reminds of Tony Stark? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm actually planning on watching 500 Days of Summer tonight (our pay dish channel has it on I've always wanted to see it but have been inherently busy).

    Is it any good?

I liked it, but I liked it better the second time I saw it. I have that with movies sometimes. It's cute, and I like the music (EPIC SOUNDTRACK OF AWESOME) and the creative effort. It makes me happy, in an odd way, even though or maybe because it's not your standard "And they lived happily ever after" chick flick. That said, I don't get all the hype connected to the film since while I think it's good, it's not Teh Awesomest Film Ever Made :)

I'll keep that in mind. I know it's got somewhat of a good rep with people but I've never paid much attention. I think it's kind of quirky based on what I've seen previously so I might like it. Either way it's going on the DVR at some point today ;)

It is kind of quirky but it's not super-funny or anything, it just sort of--puts you in a good mood, I guess? Anyway, it's definitely worth watching. Much better than most of the crap that's out there anyway :-)

Oh, yay, I'm looking forward to it (c'mon 8 PM) and yeah, I know what you mean Inception has been the only movie to grab me recently, everything else looks awful
