Art Post - Holmes

Another art prompt answered. For

ewanspotter who requested "SHERLOCK HOLMES! ANYTHING!". So I went with a portrait from one of my favourite scenes from the movie. Considering I'm not that good at portraits, I really liked how this one turned out. Except that he kind of looks like John Winchester...

Anyhow, because it could be considered a spoiler I'm only posting a wee teaser outside of the cut.

Haven't seen the movie, but I like the drawing.

Except that he kind of looks like John Winchester...

To semi quote Vala, Earth has a very limited gene pool. ;)

I don't do movie downloads and it is not in the cinemas in Germany. It opens next week. But even then I'll probably wait for the DVD release. Just like with Star Trek. ;p

I am a really bad movie goer. And if I do, it is usually with my friends, who have bad taste in movies.

Yep. He's just as smart as Sherlock, but really lazy. He's only mentioned/seen in a couple of stories. In a later story it's mentioned that he may be involved in British intelligence. (Some Sherlockians think he was in cahoots with Moriarty.)

I still don't really know who Moriarty is. The uber-bad guy, I suppose from the film :D I seriously hadn't heard of him before wheras my brother, upon creepy guy talking to Irene in the carriage appearing, instantly went THAT'S MORIARTY, RIGHT? O.o
