I was actually thinking about this the other day. I don't know how you guys do it, but most of the time you fake it pretty darn well.
We're acing at fakin' it, w00t! :D (When I have to describe landscapes I either keep it pretty vague or I google for pictures...I'm a nerd :) )
your LJ is a pretty good place for info. I love that crap. :D
