Another case of irony or fate...

You know, this term I'm doing phonetics and for this curse on Monday I have to do a home assignment every week (which I of course do very late on Sunday *lol*). Anyways, the home assignment is always a text that we have to transcripe into the phonetic alphabet (you know if you look up a word in a dictionary it will also give you the word written in these letters to show you how it is pronounced). I hate writing transcriptions cause I'm not good at it and I was complaining all day long that I didn't wanna do it. And here's my shock for this week, cause when I looked into my reader to do this week's home assignenment I found this text to transcripe:

Hobbits have no beards. They are inclined to be fat in the stomach. They dress in bright colours, wear no shoes, have long clever brown fingers, good-natured faces and deep fruity laughs (especially after dinner)

At first I didn't realise, then I started to laugh and slightly insanely called my friend to tell her about it. I mean I LOVE hobbits so much, I so wish I was one... really. Plus, my Dom-tape arrived two or three days ago... *lol

*lol* Mr Webb actually wrote "Hobbit" on the cupboard ... I was really tempted to shout "It's NOT capitalised" but oh well... maybe better NOT to tease him, eh? :o)
