Lost 2.02 Adrift - Review
First of all - you C/C shippers out there, rejoice, because for the first time ever since 1.08 I really, really liked the way they were written. Maybe because for once, it was more about Charlie again, and I mean the real Charlie here not "Lord-Claire-Protector". Also liked that Claire took the initiative, she almost seemed worried. And all of a sudden my hopes for an actually interesting Charlie this season are up again...

Charlie and the baby were just Teh Cute! And kind of reminded me of myself yesterday when I was holding Alexandra. Only I reckon Alexandra smiled a little more often ;o) Anyway, really liked Charlie's comment about "Jack probably doing something heroic"...

Sawyer and Michael definitely owned the episode. Or actually, Sawyer did. The way he desperately tried to save Michael's life and was quite hurt when Michael told him he'd only tried to save his own arse definitely showed Sawyer's got a "caring/soft" side but I think it wasn't done too obviously so I liked it. Also liked the way Michael and Sawyer kept blaming each other. (And boy, Josh Holloway CAN scream in a quite horrofying way) And the shark? *shudders* ... I mean, I've only seen Jaws once because it's too frickin' creepy so...yeah, that was good. Also [livejournal.com profile] mariloli posted a link to a cap where you can see the shark's got the same symbol/mark on his dorsal fin as the bottles and boxes Kate found in the room that she was locked into. Oh I sense scientific experiments here. *claps hands*

Loved the way last episode's events INSIDE the hatch while Jack was trying to get in were explained. Actually getting some answers for once was quite nice... :o) Kate still didn't annoy me. Locke on the other hand did, as usual. I just don't like his cryptic talk and air, but I DID like the way he hesitated to push "Execute" ... always curious truth seeking Locke suddenly taking the fright of something? Nice.

Also think Desmond's a cool character, got a lot of potential. Quite pity him actually. Poor chap.

And there actually ARE others? I mean the people from the trailer looked a little too "wild" to be castaways...

Overall? Good episode. Yes, definitely.
