Well, for the first time in about four years I watched Return Of The Jedi this evening again...gee I never noticed how mouch I missed it! And also, since we have the DVDs now, for the first time I saw it in English. And let me tell you one astonishing thing:

LUKE.IS.NOT.OLD!!!! O_O

Wheee! TeH Shock! Honestly I never liked Luke in ROTJ because I always thought he was so old in that, you know, late fourties-like and now it turns out it was al the stupid dubbing's fault! Luke's not old!! COOLNESS! Sorry I'm still not over that. I basically kept exclaiming "Oh my God, Luke's young there???" the whole film through. *shrug*

Hm so now I've seen they really did replace the old Anakin with Hayden in the end. I thought I would be devastated by that but honestly? I think it's better the way it is now. Because now you have the connection to the new episodes plus, Anakin's much younger now and at the age he probably turned to the dark side, when he died and became Darth Vader. I think it fits much better now and I never liked the "old fat man" in the original version anyway. :o)

I've just gone out and bought the "High Society" DVD, because yes I AM weird like that. It's 50s, it's Cole Porter, it's Swing-music, it's fun. Sorry. You can unfriend me now. (Uh-huh and I almost bought "Meet Me In St. Louis", too, but I could restrain myelf so could you now please do the Mexican-wave for me? :o) )

BUT, to save my dignity ... I also bought Life As A House on DVD... finally! I love that bloody film so much ... *lol*
