Guess what? I've actually been to all my classes this week! *lol* Yeah ... and the most important thing: they seem to be pretty interesting, even the one about Medival Litery Theory...*throws confetti*... hard to be lieve, but yes :o)

And guess also what - the Hetty DVD finally arrived today! My brother hided it from me when I got home, so when I didn't spot it on the table I just assumed it still hadn't arrived and made myself some toast, and while eating them Martin came in, presenting me the parcel from amazon with a wide grin. :o) Gee! I watched The Bearded Lady and isn't he just ADORABLE? And there's ALREADY a memorable 'Charlie's-right-it's-fate' line ... when Hetty suggests Geoffrey could have the spare room...

Mr Wainthropp: We don't know anything about him! He could be on drugs!

*nods* fate... definitely.

I think I'm going to be a professor of Linguistics, honestly. When I was at that lecture today the prof basically went like 'When I did my lecture in Australia... when I did my lecture in New Zealand...when I did my lecture in Tokyo...'. Man HE surely has travelled the world and I want to do that too. He also said that the Goethe-Institute (the German institute for our language) always offers quite a lot jobs abroad, for example to help teachers of German to improve their lessons or whatever. Anyway, I'm thinking about doing that once I'm finished with my studies...eventually. I know there's hardly a chance to get a job I'll enjoy over here, anyway. It's hard to get a job AT ALL, and students who do studies in humanities like I do generally are referred by folk as 'future taxi-drivers', because there are so few job offers in that field here. So I guess I'll have the choice either to do a job that's got nothing to do with what I once studied at uni, or to go abroad. Duh.
