He He. Today was a cool day at work, more or less. I got the a little pissed cause I was tired and had a headache, but pain eased soon. It appeared that neither Mrs Scheele, nor Ivonne, Björn or me actually were in the mood for working. So what we basically did was to pretend to be extremely busy but spent the most time chatting. Heh. I don't know if I told you about Björn... have I?
He's my age and studies geography ... actually he's a little dork but so am I so we get along with each other pretty well ... okay we tease each other but in a friendship kind of way you know? The cool thing about him is, that he loves Great Britain as much as I do, and he -prepare yourselves - plays the bagpipe. Nope I'm not kidding. He's actually part of a bagpipe band and owns a kilt and everything (and of course a bagpipe which cost him 800 Euro ...). So Scots Wha Hae! A few weeks ago he also bought a Tin Whistle so we agreed that this week we'd both bring our Tin Whistles and notes... and we did. Swapped notes ( I now got Carrickfergus, Maia!) and then he insisted on playing a bit on the Whistle. Well I refused cause I thought it was too loud but he wanted to play and so he did... Gosh he's REALLY good at it! But he had to stop when Mrs Scheele from 'next door' was complaining over the noise. ('WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING BJÖRN?!' *lol*)It was fun... he also had brought the pipe of his bagpipe ... I know this sounds weird ....*lol* but it was cool nonetheless.
*grins*
So much as for the senseless updates of the day... *shrug* I started with 'Northern Lights' yesterday. At first I thought it a bit hard to get into because like in Harry Potter there appear a lot of words that are not that common (well at least you usually don't learn them at school or uni ;o) )... but now I'm at chapter 4 and it's really getting gripping...
I probably won't be online much this weekend as Andrea's staying with me over the weekend. :o)
