The coolest survey of our times ... *lol*
Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] glitterbubbles ... the thieves, the little thieves ... *lol*

WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME A LOTR FAN? I admit it ... it was cause of the movies. *shrugs* 2 years before the film actually got to the theatres thee was an article in a magazine, and there I read that Elijah Wood was going to be in it. Very much later I saw the trailer in the cinema and was stunned. And completely amazed when I finally saw FOTR. Read The Hobbit & LOTR afterwards ... :o)

SEEN THE MOVIES? Obviously.

WHAT IS IT THAT YOU LOVE ABOUT LOTR? I love the way in which it all seems to be so REAL ... it's like Steph said, it feels like "visiting Middle-earth". As if you were a part of the fellowship. In the movies it's like watching good old friends, and that's what makes it so hard letting them go after ROTK. And I love the fact that it's about courage and friendship... and that those who you'd never have expected to really do "turn the tide"...

HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU SEE EACH OF THE MOVIES? In the theatres: FOTR 7 times, TTT 3 times, ROTK 7 times... at home numerous times :o)

TIMES YOU'VE READ THE BOOKS: twice so far but working on it :o)

JUST HOW OBSESSED ARE YOU WITH LOTR? Well... I'm not mixing up reality with fiction yet so ... *ool* ... but I could talk forever about it... :o) And I spend WAY too much money on it :o)

CAN YOU SPEAK ELVISH? Some sentences only... but I got this cool grammar book about Elvish so hopefully it will be more soon :o)

DID YOU DRESS UP FOR ANY OF THE MOVIE PREMIERES? Unfortunately I missed the premieres ... *lushes* :o( But I'm working on getting Eowyn's dress ... *wink*

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT AS A FAN: Guess when I watched ROTK for the first time ... the ending ... those credit pictures with Annie Lennox song ... it was very special ... I kept crying and couldn't stop myself...

FAVORITE OF THE BOOKS: Can't really say... The Hobbit :o)))) It's not REALLY LOTR but I can't really devide the LOTR books from one another, you know? :o)

FAVORITE OF THE MOVIES: ROTK but love them all

FAVORITE OVERALL CHARACTER: Jeez a tough one ... the Hobbits (and I MEAN hobbits ... I think once he's taken the ring, Frodo's not a REAL hobbit anymore ... may be stupid but to me it feels like that :o) ) but I can't decide which one. Sam maybe.

CHARACTER YOU FIND MOST ATTRACTIVE: Movie: Aragorn ... Book: Faramir *lol*

FAVORITE COUPLE: Eowyn and Faramir

FAVORITE HOBBIT: Sam I guess ... but I love Merry & Pippin also SO much...

FAVORITE ELF: Galadriel I suppose

FAVORITE MAN: Faramir ... :o)

FAVORITE DWARF: Well Gimli, hardly a choice eh? :o)

FAVORITE WIZARD: Gandalf (the Grey, if you please ;o) )

FAVORITE ORC: yuck :o)

FAVORITE VILLAIN: Probably Saruman... I pity Gollum way too much to consider him a villain :o) And after all, it's what might become to Frodo if he keeps the ring for too long

FAVORITE HORSE: Stybba ... *lol* ... no, Bill I guess. Brego in the movie.

FAVORITE SCENE FROM THE BOOK: The whole The Choices Of Master Gamgee chapter ... how did I sob only a week ago...

FAVORITE SCENE FROM THE MOVIES: Everybody knows by now, right? :o) Won't mention it here again, I'm getting tired of it myself *lol* Basically everything in the Shire ... including "I think I've broken something" *giggles* ... Sam's speech ... the end of FOTR ... too many...

COOLEST CREATURE: Hobbits!

SCARIEST CREATURE: The Balrog really gave me the creeps.

CUTEST CREATURE: Hobbits

FAVORITE QUOTE: Yet such id oft the course of the deeds that move the wheels of the world: small hands do them because they must, while the eyes of the great are elsewhere.~

WHERE WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE IN MIDDLE EARTH? Maybe Buckland rather than Hobbiton as I love the water :o)

WHAT KIND OF CREATURE WOULD YOU BE? Hobbit, definitely

WHAT'S YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE? arrow and bow? :o) my feet ... so I can run away fasty .... meeeeeep :o)

ARE YOU GOOD/EVIL/SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN? Seriously, dunno :o)

Wish me luck...
Going to my Grannie's birthday now. My cousin who I can't stand plus his girlfriend whom I even more detest will be there, too. She's a year younger than me but acts as if she was already 40, little Miss Know-It-All who pities me cause I don't have a bf. Grrrr. We hatesssss her. Decided to wear casual and NO make-up as she's always dressed very accurately, like as if she was going to a crowning. Hope that will make the difference between us clearer.

If everything fails, I have made arrangements. Got the presentation I have still to do with me (Grannie do you mind if I go to a place more quiet where I can work on it?), my mp3player, The Return of the King + my schedule with lots of nice pictures from Hobbitses, Elves and Men. That should do. I hope.

Wish me luck... :o)

Promised LOTR quote...
As an apology for not posting one yesterday, I chose this beautiful, touching bit for today ... all got your tissues ready? Good ;o)

~If I'm to go on,' he [Sam] said, 'then I must take your sword by your leave, Mr Frodo, but I'll put this one to lie by you, as it lay by the old king in the barrow; and you've got your beautiful mithril coat from old Mr Bilbo. And your star-glass, Mr Frodo, you did lend it to me and I'll need it, for I'll be always in the dark now. It's too good for me, and the Lady gave it to you, but maybe she'd understand. Do you understand, Mr Frodo? I've got to go on.~
