Okay, I HATE Phonetics ... it's just boring and I'm so not good at turning texts into a phonetic transcription... buh. And this is how my first day of the week starts, at half past 8 ... that's what I have to get up half past 6 at Mondays ... just makes me want to scream :o)

AND to make things even better, we dealt with the nerve system in Linguistics today ... Jesus, I mean I had the nerve system in my final exams at school and I was just more than glad cause I thought I would never come across it again ... *lol* bad luck, Steffi :o)

In our free lessons, Jana, Daniela and I decided to just sit on the lawn of our campus in the sun where we listened to "Island In The Sun" by Weezer ... it was fun ... :o)

Hm, nothing more to tell ... I guess I shall look for a new LOTR quote now though I'm not so sure whether it will be as a beautiful one as the past two days ... we will see ... *wink*

LOTR quote of the day...
He [Pippin] looked at the great walls, and the towers and brave banners, and the sun in the high sky, and then at the gathering gloom in the East, and he thought of the long fingers of that Shadow: of the orcs in the woods and the mountains, the treason of Isengard, the birds of evil eye, and the Black Riders even in the lanes of the Shire - and of the winged terror, the Nazgúl. He shuddered, and hope seemed to wither. (...) He shook himself. 'It is passed,' he said. 'No, my heart will not yet despair. Gandalf fell and has returned and is with us. We may stand, if only on one leg, or at least be left still upon our knees.'
The Return of the King, Chapter I, Minas Tirith

Actually these are two quotes (from two paragraphs even), but still they're very close and few lines apart in the books and to me, they even seem to belong to each other, so I posted them as one here ...
