... I can hardly believe it but we DO have snow here ... meeh, I was so happy I actually took photos with my DigiCam this morning while walking to the bus stop. As I said, snow is a RARE thing here. Though the bad part is, that busses now've stopped driving up the hill upon which our little house is, which means, I've got to GO BY FOOT ... *shudders* ... nah it's half bad. But I wonder how I am supposed to get to work tomorrow...
As it seems, I've got to do a term abroad for uni... quite scared of that, cause I don't like being far away from home all on my own. I thought of going to the US since we've got friends there who surely would be more than willing to take a bit care of me... they live in Pennsylvania by the way. Yes it sounds exciting and tempting to me, but I'm really scared, too. It's also got to do with the fact of me being German and all. Not to offend the Americans, nope, I'm not comfortable going ANYWHERE because of my origin (as much as I actually enjoy travelling)... when I'm abroad I try not to speak as much as possible so no one will notice I'm from Germany. I think there are still lots of people who are convinced we're all Nazis. Annika told me a friend of her even got beaten up because of that in England. I know the young folks mostly don't think like that but still, there are enough elder ones. Ach, I dunno. And until I've got to do that term abroad there will pass 1 or 2 years anyway... I can worry about that then ... :o)
